Instead of ordering your usual diet soda or non fat caramel macchiato, grab a cup of green tea instead. Green tea or "matcha" as some call it, has a myriad of benefits for your health. According to different scientific researches, results suggest that green tea helps health conditions such as high cholesterol levels, cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Green tea contains a high amount of antioxidants called polyphenols which, in "beauty language" translates into slowing down the aging process. Besides that, clinical studies also suggest that green tea helps to boost metabolism rates and assist in the fat burning process. It is a win-win situation.
