His dad gave him his first camera, a Kodak Brownie bought at a flea market when he was just 8. He's an Army brat born and raise during the height of the Disco era. He said that this accounts for his deeply disturbed warped sense of the world around him. His photography takes on different forms and genres, from mild to wild, from normal everyday look to touch of high fashion with his own unique twist. Why photography? "The thing I love most about photography is the ability to be creative without limit. To be able to let your imagination run free and work with other creative professionals who appreciate and are even inspired by that. I'm not afraid to try anything behind the camera; Sometimes it works fantastically and sometimes the results are truly horrible. If you don’t try though, you'll never know" For Robert Rhea, photography is the art of capturing the human experience just as his every shots gives life to these emotions.
