What's this, what's this!?  It's Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Ultimate Collectors Edition on Blu-Ray DVD!!!  I am so excited for this, you have no idea!  Ever since I was a little girl, 12 to be exact, I have been in love with this stop-motion movie released in 1993.

Two years ago Disney decided to re-release TNBC in theatres in 3D and I have gone religiously ever since, and you bet your booty I'm going this year as well, many many times!  It's been fun to spread the 'Nightmare' love to young, old and new friends every time, and if you have never seen this classic movie you should really rent it or take a trip to your local Cinemark 3D theatre this fall, you won't regret it.  

I just had to share the great news for all you Tim Burton and Jack Skellington fans out there that in just a few shorts weeks on August 26th 2008 you can get your hands on a few different versions of this re-release of The Nightmare Before Christmas DVD!

You can watch a Tim Burton classic in 1080p for the first time this August. The Nightmare Before Christmas is coming to Blu-Ray on August 26. The BD disc will be priced at $39.99 and a new collectors edition of the film will be released in the standard format as well, priced at $32.99 SRP. For the ultimate fan, an Ultimate Collector's Gift Set will also be released that day which will include an individually numbered hand-painted bust of Jack Skellington in all his gory glory equipped with a Jack's "Sandy Claws" hat and beard, a sound chip that plays memorable lines from the film and a letter of authenticity. The Ultimate Collector's Gift Set will be priced at $179.99 SRP. The film stars the voices of Danny Elfman, Chirs Sarandon, Catherine O'Hara and Paul Reubens.
