There's so many bold trends that are in for this coming Fall. But, the biggest trend I've seen is in the shoe department. I mean, there are so many different styles of shoes. They just keep coming up with new ways to decorate, design, and wear shoes. It seems like you can basically get away with wearing any style of shoe this Fall, because they're all in! You'll never get bored wearing jeans and sweaters this season with so many trendy shoes to complete those looks!
You can still get away with showing some skin in your heels this season. Even boots come in peep-toes now! There's even some "caged" style of shoe I saw on instyle.com, where the shoe looks like a bootie with holes in it, resembling a cage. Sling-backs are always in style, coming in deep fall shades like purple. Satin is another trend in shoes for the season. This material is what makes these open-toed shoes appropriate for fall instead of resembling the wedges of Summer. So if you feel as if your toes will be chilly but you want to show off your painted nails and show some "foot cleavage," opt for stockings. Stockings are hot for fall and they will keep you warm as well as dress up your look.
Booties, booties, booties! I just can't get enough. Ankle boots were in last Fall but now there are so many different lengths of a boot, or should I say heights? Booties tend to fluctuate around the ankle, while boots reach anywhere from the calf to the thigh! I'm really diggin' the booties though. They are so trendy yet sexy. A lot of booties come with a big feminine bow that ties on the side of your ankle, adding flair to any pair of jeans tucked snugly inside. Some are belted, some are zipped, and some let your fresh painted toes peep out the front to say hello.
Boots have gone from super sexy to casual and unique. Say goodbye to the classic black knee highs, cowgirl boots are a big fashion staple for Fall. (Say goodbye to uggs too. So comfy but so over.) They're, (cowgirls), more casual and comfortable but definitely stylish. Thigh highs are hot, but I feel like only celebs can pull them off without looking...well, skanky. Wear a pair of them to the clubs around here in Jersey and be prepared to have guys mating but girls hating. They're just too over the top. I'd stick with cowgirl boots if you like high boots, and booties if you want to feel sexy but look classy. Booties go with denim, dresses, skirts, almost anything! Don't forget slouchy. Some boots may try to reach the knee, but they relax and slouch their way down, creating a casual, stylish feel to your look. You can get away with bare legs in September but once October comes, buy some deeply colored stockings (purple, black, navy, or red if you're feelin' extra confident) or nude if you decide to pair booties with a dress or skirt. Very classy but definitely trendy.
Not only are boots taking new heights but so are the heel itself. If you can handle it, try a pair of super high heels because they're everywhere! Who cares how tall you are? Rock four inch heels like the models do. They're already pushing 6 feet and they're still rockin' them as are celebs. It's ultra confident and flashy. I wouldn't recommend sky high heels for the workplace but a night out on the town? Stand out from the crowd!
There's too many styles to name. Colored, printed, belted, bowed, peep-toed, slouchy, edgy, satin, textured, strappy...if you pick up a pair of shoes that catch your fancy this season, get 'em. Chances are, if they're unique to you, they're in style for the upcoming cool weather.
It's ultra sexy when you're not afraid to try new trends with confidence. If you're weary of the bright, bold patterns and styles of clothing this Fall, then take baby steps...with shoes. Shoes are the ultimate accessory to any and every look. They can be the ultimate statement themselves. So go ahead and buy a fun, bow-tied bootie, a sky-high heel, or a deep, sexy shade of satin, and add instant flair to any outfit, but don't forget to top it off with confidence!
