I have just returned from a one month vacation to Africa. Yes, the D & G animal print resortwear came in handy whilst on safari. But, this story is not about what I wore, it's about how I felt. In one word, compassionate.

After a 14 hour international flight to South Africa, overland transit to Mozambique, a 3 hour domestic small plane ride & a very rugged SUV drive along & finally off the beaten track, I had arrived. It was overwhelming to be greeted by hundreds of African children, their parents, tribal leaders & translators.  Courtesy of my donations to World Vision, a humitarian organization dedicated to building a better world for all children, I was able to meet my sponsor child in person. I witnessed with my own eyes, the improvement made to her life by providing clean water, nutritious food, health care, education and community empowerment. Thank you World Vision for making this world a better place.
