Miami’s Versace Mansion Sells For $41.5 Million At Auction

Versace's iconic Mediterranean-styled estate, located on Miami Beach's prestigious Ocean Drive, has sold at auction for $41.5 million.

This mansion was once considered the nation's most expensive home and went on sale more than a year ago for $125 million.

Just steps from the sea, the home- Casa Casuarina, has two rooftop terraces that boast spectacular views of the beach.

It features custom-made murals for Versace, mosaic flooring, 10 bedrooms and 11 baths.

Also, there is a full bar in the observatory for an evening of star-gazing, an open-air courtyard, and a pool lined with 24 carat gold.

The master suite once occupied by Versace himself contains a king-size bed, a huge bathroom, a walk-in closet and a small terrace overlooking the sea.

The mansion was built in 1930 by architect Alden Freeman, and now the infamous Casa Casuarina is expected to be operated as a hotel.
