Janet Jackson has teamed up with designer Bruno Schiavi to create a line of lingerie called “Pleasure Principle” - inspired by her 1987 song of the same name.

“The collection has been carefully created with some of the finest laces from around the world,” Jackson said in a release. “You will see a lot of satin and lace combined and rich colors such as burgundy and beige, silver and peach as well as your classic black and white.”

Hmmm. Considering one source says that the collection is under $40, the materials can’t be THAT fine. By “finest laces from around the world” she must mean “what was on sale at Michael’s last week.” But that’s OK. This is an egalitarian line of bras.

“There’s something for every woman, and that’s very important to us,” Jackson said at a press conference. “I’ve always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key.”

And we all know what Janet Jackson does when she finds lingerie uncomfortable - she just doesn’t wear any! Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty!
