Curious about the choice of Tripp for Bristol Palin's newborn son? An expert sheds some light on the name, including that extra P.

Apparently (this is according to Laura Wattenberg who wrote "The Baby Name Wizard") Tripp is a "preppy-style nickname for a 'third'" somewhat like Trey. Thing is, "Trey" is pretty popular. "Tripp"? Also, this isn't Bristol's third child. But I guess it's a close family. Or something. Laura also brings up Linda Tripp, but that's too hard to explain; you'll have to read it for yourself.
