German born and paris based artist, Lagerfeld has the creative ability to turn fabric into masterpieces and one would not be surprised if he weaved straw into gold. Karl Lagerfeld launched his own sunglass line with Marchon eyewear in early 2008 which was expected to turnover like the tastiest hotcakes. However, the "customer" was not aware of Lagerfeld's impact on the fashion society and industry and has been pulled from stores later in the year. Tear, I was so proud of Karl. It's okay, I'll buy his sunglasses! Amazing how people today want to be associated with wealth, class, and success through designer labels, yet they shrug at the name of the mastermind behind them.
