Are you ready for another Apple-mania? It's coming soon, actually this Friday, July 11th at 8:00AM.
According to CNET the new iPhone G3 model is expected to appeal to a wider audience than the first iPhone did because of the lower barrier to entry presented by the $199 price tag and the faster networking connection that will suck in those of us who couldn't imagine trying to surf the Web on an EDGE chip.
Engadget reports from a trusted source that the world's first iPhone 3G will be on sale at 00:01, Friday July 11th, in New Zealand -- that's still Thursday, July 10th at 5:01 in the AM in Cupertino or 13:01 hours in London. At that precise minute, Vodafone NZ will swing open the doors of its Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch shops to your overeager HSDPA jones. Expect bunch of NZ users reviews then.
It will be interesting to watch the size of the new Apple-mania. I'll stick to my Voyager and watch the long Apple store lines on YouTube...
