James-Paul's collection shown at Bravo's The Fashion Show Finale last Friday definitely stood out from the rest by having a signature touch and artistic vision, a glimpse of which we had a chance to preview during the entire show season. Regardless of winning or not the top title, James-Paul is promising to take on the fashion world with his mix of Donna Karen-esque shapes and Gareth Pugh darkness.

His signature metallic cocoon coat looks like the next evolution of Norma Kamalli's signature, updated with luxurious metallic fabric. The belt straps elements popping up throughout the collection provided a nice touch of consistency and reminded of the winning look James-Paul created during the season. He is a strong contendant to win, although definitely less mainstream one...
