Controversial filmmaker and actress, Sofia Coppola, is no stranger to the fashion world. She was the face and inspiration behind her BFF Marc Jacob's signature fragrance, Blush, and she's featured in Louis Vuitton's "Core Values" ad campaign with her father, director Francis Ford Coppola (FYI: he directed the "Godfather" trilogies).
Now, Coppola is going center-stage and taking a leading and some might say, challenging, role in fashion. She is reportedly designing a line of handbags and shoes for Louis Vuitton. The line will apparently be sold worldwide and will launch in Japan.
Considering Coppola's indie style and her connection to designer Marc Jacobs, I expect her designs to be anything but conventional.
