Alice McCall is BACK!
Alice McCall is BACK!

Some of you may not be familiar with Alice McCall's work or even know who she is, but this Australian designer is a celebrity in her own right. Her line for the fashion chain, TopShop,  has the prestigious honor of being the fastest-selling line to date (And yes that means she out sold Kate Moss' collection for the brand ).

September 25 will be a welcoming home of sorts for this Aussie, as her second collection for TopShop will hit stores on that date. The line is tapped to have an urban street feel that caters to girls who were born to stand out from the crowd.

What inspired this line you ask ?

Atari computer games. Although it may seem a little odd, McCall looked to the Atari computer game movement to bring a more urban edge to conventional pretty dresses.  People should expect the line to feature pieces with graphic-based prints featuring black, white and grey, with touches of teal and fuchsia in dresses and tuxedo trousers.

For those of you that can't wait till the end of the month to see Alice McCall's designs, please note that she will be opening New York Fashion Week this Friday, with new york-based designer Micheal Angel.

Excited? I know I am !
