These days every celebrity from Sarah Jessica Parker to Celine Dion has her own fragrance. But it's hard for regular gals like you and me to have our own "signature" fragance if we simply choose one of these popular perfumes or colognes available in major department stores everywhere. Which is why I try to find the best fragrances most people have never even heard of.

Whenever I travel, I look for local perfumes and colognes. And that's how I found my "signature" scent. It's probably popular on the West Coast and in the Hawaiian Islands, but I can't even find it where I live in the Midwest. It's called Hawaiian Orchid and it's one of several Perfumes of Hawaii by Langer.

I love it because it smells more like expensive bath powder than some heavy perfume. Plus, it isn't expensive. And everyone I meet is NOT wearing this fragrance, so here in my hometown, I really do feel it's MY signature scent.

I discovered this cologne-mist when I traveled to Maui several years ago. These days, I simply order the cologne online.
