| About: For me, breathing fashion can be like inhaling that delectable perfume sample you got from the mall, or trying to ignore the slight must creeping from that favorite shirt of mine that I might be able to get one more wear out of. It is, like Coco Chanel said, "fashion is both caterpillar and butterfly. be a caterpillar by day and butterfly at night. (there is nothing more comfortable than the caterpillar and nothing is better made for love than the butterfly... the butterfly does not go to the market and the caterpillar does not go to the ball..." Its all about versatility. To have such an open mind, one must interpret the elegance of a little black dress and the extravagance of the "vision in white" wedding gown. This interpretation is what makes a designer who he or she is. It gives them perspective, it gives them a "face" so to speak...

I am Lynn from Synergy Events Company. We are doing a fashion show for the Boston Fashion Week to be held on the 19th of September and is looking for designers to do a group show at the event with us. You will have the chance of promoting your designs on the runway infront of the press and VIP guests, thereby expanding your reach towards media and potential buyers. There is a minimal fee of $500 but I can assure you of a return investment of 10x as much as what you have to pay to get involved. We are lucky to have as a participating designer, fashion celebrity Jerry Tam of the Project Runway Show. We have a free hotel room for you to stay at in Boston on the 19th if you wish to participate.

In the upcoming Boston Fashion Week 2008 event, The SYNERGY Events (www.theSYNERGYevents.com) is proudly presenting, ‘The Emerging Fashion Designers Expo’ featuring four up and coming designers. Selected designers from Boston and New York will create a brief fashion show in order to best showcase their individual designs and artistic abilities. The designers will be responsible for the overall presentation and execution of all aspects of their show - including making a selection of designs and the fashion models to represent their couture collection.
With over seven hundred people expected to attend, not only will the event serve to promote the next generation of fashion designers, but designers will also gain invaluable experience and exposure to area sponsors and buyers. Additionally, the event will serve to position the city of Boston as a dominant fashion force.
Packages for Designers
Emerging Fashion Designer Package: The SYNERGY Events is seeking 4 eclectic up and coming designers to showcase their 2008 fall style and trend at this massive event. The designers will be chosen based on their creativity, experience and uniqueness. The categories from which the designers will be picked from are - casual, formal, accessories, handbags and shoes. We are seeking designers who target both male and female clienteles. All designers will be paired with 10 professional models. Additionally, our models will be assigned to work with professional runway coordinators along with hair and makeup artists for their respective shows. Exclusive designers will have the opportunity to be a participant at this show for a minimal cost of $2,500. Five complimentary VIP tickets for the event will be provided to each selected designer.
VIP Networking Package for Designers
Designers participating in the Boston Fashion Week 2008 will be offered the chance to select from two "VIP Networking Packages". The "VIP Networking Packages" offer emerging designers, who have limited budgets and restrained resources, the opportunity for exposure through flaunting off their talent in a more personal, non-runway manner in the VIP lounge. The VIP lounge, strictly accessible ONLY to retail buyers, members of the press and photographers, provides the artists a platform for making lasting impressions in the fashion industry. Ideally, these packages are extremely beneficial for those designers seeking out the enormous advantages of networking. Designers will leave the show gaining invaluable insights into the Boston retail market and attaining additional business contacts.
The VIP Networking Packages are listed below:
VIP Networking Blue Package: Designers will be paired with 2 models who will be attired in their clothing lines. Additionally, the ladies can act as a networking tool to assist with passing out business cards and serve as a vehicle for building strategic alliances during the time allocated. A professional makeup artist will be present to do the makeup for the models. These designers will receive 2 complimentary VIP passes for the event. Fee: $1,000.
VIP Networking Red Package: Designers will be paired with 4 models who will be attired in their clothing lines. Additionally, the ladies can act as a networking tool to assist with passing out business cards and serve as a vehicle for building strategic alliances during the time allocated. A professional makeup artist will be present to do the makeup for the models. These designers will receive 4 complimentary VIP passes for the event. Fee: $1,500.
