The iconic hip-hop and R&B diva herself, Miss Janet Jackson, is designing a lingerie line!  The line will be called Pleasure Principle, after her 1986 hit single and undoubtedly all the sexual innuendos as well.

For her designing debut, Janet has teamed up will Australian lingerie designer Bruno Schiavi, the designer responsible for Dr. Rey's Shapewear line (named after "Dr. 90210" plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Rey).  

The line will feature 18 pieces and a very broad range of sizes, from 32A to 44G.  Janet has said the lingerie will mostly be lace and satin, but she is aiming for the utmost comfort.  Janet told Women's Wear Daily (WWD), "I hate it when you've had on a bra all day long and you just can't wait to take it off".  (Superbowl flashback, anyone?!)  Is that the reason for her infamous "wardrobe malfunction"?! 

Pleasure Principle is projected to be sold in department stores by the end of this year or early next year.  Miss Jackson, keeping busy as always, says she is already planning to expand beyond lingerie and is currently working on more lines with Schiavi.
