Mamas-to-be, there's good news... you no longer need to sacrifice fashion for your baby bump!  Leave it to Christian Siriano, the most high fashion designer to win Project Runway yet, to design a maternity line-- so practical and wearable, yet entirely imbued with Christian's signature high fashion edge.

Christian is designing the collection for maternity clothing line Moody Mamas, his friends' Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin's label.  Of course, Christian's maternity collection will be titled "Fierce" and I'm sure that's what we should expect from it.

As happy as all the future mommies out there will be, I'm sure everyone is still a little bewildered by Christian's new venture.  Yet Siriano, as surprising as ever, says he chose to launch a collection for his friends' maternity clothing line, Moody Mamas, because he thought it would be funny for him, a gay man, to design clothes with two women who've never had a baby. (Huh?!)  

Well, at least Christian's branching out.  He's already scheduled to show his own collection September 11 at New York Fashion Week, and now he can add this maternity collection to his already impressive list of enterprises.  He's sure to be the biggest commercial success of Project Runway yet!
