Lancome has devised a new mascara, the Oscillation Mascara, which vibrates. It isn't being officially released for sale until the fall, but Sephora held a special one day sale for the mascara ($34) and it sold out almost instantly.
For those of you beauty junkies who just can't wait until the fall to get your hands on some vibrating mascara, don't worry-- I'm going to share my little secret of where to get some.
A few companies already have vibrating mascara, so if you can bear to part with Lancome for the rest of the summer I recommend either Spinlash Mascara or Estee Lauder's Turbolash All Effects Motion Mascara ($30).
According to the company, the motorized wand is supposed to push mascara deeper into the lashes while separating them as well. A representative for Estee Lauder says the pulsating wand creates a motion "similar to the movements woman uses" when applying mascara and "does it a lot faster".
Is that really the main advantage?! How lazy can you be? For me, applying mascara takes all of twenty seconds. Not to mention, I'm not sure I want a vibrating brush near my eyes so for now I'll just stick with my good old-fashioned regular mascara.
Would you buy vibrating mascara?
