Triple Strand Necklace
I wanted to make a triple strand scarf necklace, but kept running out of the beads and finally the wire. So improvising I came up with this. I suppose it could be considered a reversible necklace. Along in the picture is the jewelery books, all published in various years during the 1970s, that I adapted the designs from. The books tell how to make jewelery with beads and thread. Since I use wire, not thread, I had to change the designs here and there to be able to make them. Even though I don't sell my work, I'm pretty darn proud of the fact I figured out how to adapt the designs to create my own 70s inspired beading pieces.
