Some would call fashion designer Brian Lichentenberg a prodigy; The Silverlake, California native has taken one design class in his lifetime. His line of clothing is modern and unique, transcending contemporary design; one would think he would have some sort of formal training. If you observed his fall collection you would understand why Lichtenberg says his only muses are architecture, fine art, and visionary designers Helmut Lang and Vivienne Westwood. This season’s cut and sew collection features silhouettes completely off the bias, (which he calls his drip pieces) bold statement prints (think hologram and tropical florals), and bright colors that channel the 80’s.
