Rebecca Minkoff - Spring 2010 - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York

She's known for her celeb-favorite leather handbags, but Rebecca Minkoff is proving that she can do much more than just accessories.

The handbag designer presented her Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection, inspired by the quirky Tim Burton films with influences from the work of Peter Lindberg, who photographed the big supermodels from the '90s including Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, and Tatjana Patitz.

The patterns from inside her handbag line has taken form into the designer's clothing collection from the bright rose to the bold leopard print. The collection exudes the early '90s style with a variety of skirts, cropped jackets, and denim.  The tight, black leather minis and striped pants reveal the darker, Tim Burton influence.

For all you who adore her handbags, don't fret.  The designer had plenty of new ones for spring.  The line features similar designs from her usual collection but with even more colors, studs, and tassels.
