Although swimwear isn't always in the focus of NY Fashion Week, I'm looking forward to Gottex runway show every Spring season. Being one of the rare swimwear brands that refer to it almost as to evening wear, Gottex always puts a great show, featuring luxurious fabrics and as much attention to details and embellishments as you would expect from red carpet gowns.

Under the new Creative Direction of Molly Grad, the Spring 2010 collection takes a modern direction without forsaking its DNA. I applaud the exploration in the fusion of technology and luxury - with innovative fabrics such as laminated tulle and plasticized lycra, Gottex present a new interpretation of swimwear and beachwear.

Forgiving cuts and beautiful draping make Gottex swimsuits into truly coveted pieces sure to be seen on the beaches of luxurious resorts.
