It’s funny because over time hanging wall calendars have been downgraded from the technological to “home décor” for all the amazing applications, etc. that are not available on a write in, which are available on a computerized version (See Outlook, See One of My Most Favorite Things on Earth.)

 

Regardless, I think every new year should be brought in with a fun, funky little calendar. Notes can be jotted down here. Appointments, birthday, etc. and let’s be honest, it will be a lot more fun to see in the future than a printed out Outlook calendar. If you’re into ascribing personalities to animals, there’s even an option here to write prose from a zebra’s mouth….

 

This calendar comes from Etsy/Assemblyline. It comes with fun little animals and a sleek style, reminiscent of 2007, but thinking forward like 2008. There is a decent amount of room on this thing to jot down cute little notes like: “Run 3 times a week” or “Get your stupid hand out of that stupid ice cream container.”

 

Serious resolutions require serious deadlines. This is a deadline you might be okay looking at hanging on your wall all year. At $15.00 a pop, it’s a pretty decent way to bring in the New Year!
