The Museum at FIT has had some pretty cool exhibits lately-- from the Isabel Toledo presentation to the Fashion and Politics display. Now the museum will be introducing a new exhibit called "Night & Day," which will feature the change in women's fashion over the past 250 years.
More than 100 different garments and accessories will depict each era and how clothing was worn for various occasions from day to night. No doubt, FIT's exhibit will show the rich history of women's fashion with pieces from the late 18th century, to 1920s Art Deco-inspired sportswear, 1950s Christian Dior, to a modern evening dress Olivier Theyskens for Rochas.
"Night & Day" will be open from December 3, 2009 to May 11, 2010. Admission is free.
