I love working out! This morning was incredible. I went to the Powerflex class after also doing the class last night. Energy makes energy, so I have a lot to spare. Powerflex is a great class. It's all free weightlifting at a non-stop pace. It is awesome to be in the class with all ages of people sweating and grunting and getting their fitness on!
I call myself a role model. I work hard to be one. But I have my own role models to emulate. One of my favorites is the 70-something year-old gentleman in my Powerflex class. He attends the class faithfully. He may not do the exercises exactly as they're
demonstrated, but he gets through the entire hour every single time. He is great! I only hope that God will give me the grace to keep working out like that in my 70's.
On the way out, I ran into another role model, my 73 year-old aunt, who was coming in to do her water aerobics class. Oh, and before I forget, my 23 year old cousin also attends the Powerflex class with me. Wow, with all of these role models, I can not dare be a slouch.

When I think of all of the gorgeous, intelligent, and sexy women I have admired, it is no wonder that I pursue fitness with zeal. From the time I was a child, I remember seeing Oleda Baker in the back of Glamour magazine in her "actual unretouched photo" looking slim and spectacular. Last time I looked, she was about 100 years old and still looked 30. That's how I want to be. Some of my other favorites: Beverly Johnson, one of the first black high fashion super models, have you seen her lately? She is fabulous! Iman, an absolutely stunning, smart, and savvy businesswoman, she is fabulous! Diana Lewis, the channel 7 news anchor. She's been on the air forever and at the age of 65, she too, is fabulous! I almost forgot the lovely Christie Brinkley. What can I say, she also is fabulous! These are the women I strive to be like. And in my striving, I hope to inspire.
You see, being over forty, fit, fine, and fabulous, takes a lot of work! I have to work twice as hard to maintain as someone half my age. So here's news for you younger women: watch out! ChristallinbringingsexybackTabb is on a mission! The mission is to inspire you to be the best you can be too.
As a queen, I feel that I have a responsibility to look like one. Have you ever seen someone who looked drop-dead gorgeous in their online photo and when you see them in real life, it's like "What the *&%$@!?" Some people's photos are so doctored up that they bear no resemblance to the person they portray. Well, not so with me. What you see is what you get!
You won't meet me in public and I'm 40 pounds heavier than I am in my "official" picture. I won't have lines, and wrinkles, etc all over my face that have been magically erased in my photos. I find that deceitful from women who aspire to lead others.
My point is that if you are to lead, then you must walk the walk! It takes a lot of hard work, motivation, and effort. A lot of self-discipline, denial of self, and good self care habits. It takes dedication to the people you serve and to the little ones that look up to you.

When little girls tell me they want to grow up to be a princess like me, I know I'm doing my job!
