As the old saying goes: “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.”
And Target’s in-house design team has done just that. They’ve picked themselves up, put away their Project Runway DVDs, checked out a blog review or two, and went back to the war room to come up with a second Go International Private Label collection.
For summer, the line consists mainly of dresses and ruffled tops in a pleasant floral print (Chloe, take note) as well as brightly-colored bikinis, adorable rompers, and khaki shorts. The collection, priced between $14.99 to $44.99, drops on June 29th.
Yeah. This is a huge upgrade from the shiny and plastic “I want to be spring ‘07 Chloe” numbers from the first Private Label release.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Saunders’ rumored diffusion line with the mass retailer has just been confirmed. Now if only someone could tell Forever21 to stop doing things like this.
