The first images of Proenza Schouler's granny-tastic sunglasses have just been revealed to the world.  There is a 'shade' of mystery and anticipation surrounding the eye-wear collection as they will not actually be shown to buyers until August, meaning they won't hit stores before October. 

From the first look, the sunglasses are reminiscent of something Lauren Bacall would definitely have worn in The Graduate.  The vintage, horn-rimmed style of the glasses is likely to go over well with fans of the young label. 

Definitely a welcome respite from the ubiquitous Wayfarers.
