I only know a few common beauty secrets, but they seem to come in handy everyday, which is the best type of beauty secret. I have acne, so I frequently use Clean & Clear Advantage Acne cleanser at night. After, I use Time-Wise Age Fighting Moisturizer (even though I' m only 18) becuase it leaves your skin moisturized without being oily or greasy.
When this acne treatment makes my skin too dry (especially in winter) I use Aveeno Positively Radiant daily cleansing pads. There' s a cleaning side to the pad that' s safe around sensitive areas ( ex. eyes ) and a textured side to exfoliate. All you do is wet your face, use the pad, throw it away, and rinse your face again. It' s simple, and you notice an immedaite difference. Your complexion becomes smoother and more uniform in color. This is a great product for those who don' t have acne as well.
One beauty secret I learned from my hairdresser, is this leave-in conditioner called Fermodyl Interactives. She told me all I had to do, was not use conditioner, and use the product after I towel dry. You shake well, squirt some in your hand, rub it in your hair (putting most on the ends, not your scalp), and comb through. It' s simple, and my hair has never been softer.
Now when it comes to make up, I love my highlighter pen and lip liner. After my foundation but before my powder, I dab on a little of my highlighter on the top of my cheekbones, right under my eyebrows, and on the top of my nose. When I got my latest facial, the lady also told me to put my lip liner just above my top lip, and to go no further than the actual bottom of my lower lip (hard to explain, but she said not to get any on my skin, just my lower lip, unlike the top lip). This made my upper and lower lip look about the same size, which turned out to be extremely sexy. I also never put blush under my cheekbone. I think it looks more natural and sweet to apply it on the apples of my cheeks and across the cheek bone. Then I take a shiney pink lipstick and dab some on between the apples of my cheeks and my nose. It gives a kind of "just came out of the sun" look that I think is very cute. I use an angle brush for my eyeliner, and I like to mix some dark brown glittery eyeshadow and black pencil eyeliner on the brush and dab it on my lash line. The last thing I ususally do (I' ve skipped a few things) is my eyeshadow. I don' t have much eyeshadow, so I brush dark brown eyeshadow towards the farthest corner of my eye, and some yellowish-pink liquid eyeshadow towards the corner closest to my nose, leaving the middle of my lid my foundation color. This turns out nicely.
I also always recommend Dream Angels Desire Perfume by Victoria Secret, just because it' s a wonderful perfume to finish off your look.
My only advice for clothes is that you should wear what you like best and what defines you as a person.
Bonne Chance!
