Who do we value in pop culture?

Who do we value in pop culture?
Who do we value in pop culture...

It seems the celebrities "worship" today are rarely the one' s who have the most talent, they are the more often the one' s with the most scandal, the wildest partiers, the best looking or have the most interesting personal lives. There are so many great actors and actresses who have enormous amounts of talent, that actually lead decent lives. Audrey Hepburn, the icon of class and style was an extremely talented and versatile actress who best quality was she never even knew how amazing she was! Patricia Routledge, star of the hilariously funny 1990' s British comedy "Keeping Up Appearances" played wonderfully a woman obsessed with etiquette and maintaining a good reputation, oblivious to the fact she is consistently doing the opposite.  There is Amanda Bynes, who as a young star has managed to stay on the right track, unlike her colleagues, while playing of the funniest characters seen in a long time. She has the versatility of a chameleon, shown first when she played well over 10 different   and very diverse characters on her own hit show "The Amanda Show".  Anyways, here is just of a few of the great, and under appreciated starts in Tv and film.

Stupendously spoken! Hepburn was a solid stunner of an actress and you conveyed your point brilliantly using her here. Bravo! They should have mentioned Vonneguts death - as, oh, well maybe the GUY who wrote Slaughterhouse Five!!! and lived it??? they didn't say puck at the Oscars about his death

I think there are two Hollywoods: the one with the people who make the news (*groan*), and the one full of people we actually respect. Plus, a lot of those great people we respect but don't see too much of in the press like it that way. They're average people after all.
