Don't you just love the high life? I am not necessarily wealthy, but it is so much to pretend sometimes, not in a snooty or uppity way, but doing things every once in a while with my friends or for myself that make me feel good. Examples are going shopping in New York or Montreal or Vancouver, and going in to the high fashion and designers stores, knowing I will never buy anything, but just being in there and being seen in there, makes me happy. Sometimes I wander the hall os the fanciest five star hotel in the city, and although I could never afford to spend the night, I always walk through the lobby and the hall looking like I belong. At the same hotels, I enjoy going for "high tea" like the royal family did every day in Victorian times, or eating out late at the dining room, ordering just a small appetizer of course, and doing this, and sometimes having people know I do this, makes me so happy as I just give myself a taste of the lives of the rich and famous, with out all the unnecessary drama.
