I was cruising the internet and came upon one of my favorite sites for delectable Canadian bags- Matt & Nat.  As some of you may know, Matt and Nat promotes the use of vegan friendly leather, faux suede lining and nylon to create their bags.  This undoubtably begs the question: can one really create fashion forward, luxurious bags with solely these materials?.  Well the answer is yes!   These bags break through the design barrier at light speed (not to mention they are quite affordable).  Recently they have introduced a program in which gently used and worn Matt & Nat bags can be donated to various locations around North America and will be given to women (and men- as they have men' s bags) who are trying to become more economically independent.  This is quite a brilliant idea as most used and unwanted bags are thrown away or simply sit in the back of the closet collecting dust.  Matt & Nat deserve a round of applause for their efforts to help the less fortunate and help the economy.  I, for one, will most definitely be spending some money on these bags for the upcoming season & I hope to see plenty of women sporting these lovely, trendy bags as well.
